Ecovacs Robotics opens the first Robot Museum in China

(March 21, 2016) - ECOVACS ROBOTICS recently celebrated the opening of the first Robot Museum in Suzhou, China.

The Robot Museum features intelligent robots from all over the world including the United States, France, United Kingdom, Japan, Korea and other countries. In the 6 sections of the museum, the public will be able to learn more about the historical development of robots, explore the wonders of robotics, and interact with highly intelligent androids in a number of hands-on activities.

When visitors enter the Robot Museum they are warmly welcomed by the company’s assistant robot, Benebot. With its ability to walk, speak and sing Benebot is an excellent tour guide, providing answers to all questions regarding the museum and the exhibits.

In the first section of the museum, visitors can learn more about the historical evolution of robots starting from 1400 B.C. and continuing up to the present day. Walking further into the futuristic space, the guests will have the opportunity to witness a school of mechanical robot fish swimming around a water tank, an exhibit shown in Asia exclusively by ECOVACS ROBOTICS! Following next, a phantasmagorical show of perfectly synchronized performing robots dancing in formation is setting the mood for the later sections where visitors have the opportunity to engage with the robots in several activities including playing chess, table hockey and petting a robotic dog, a favorite among children! In the last section, ECOVACS ROBOTICS presents a unique exhibit exclusively obtained from NASA, a lifelike robot with artificial intelligence and vivid human expressions called San Bao. This realistic robot can learn and speak more than 30 languages, broadcast the weather, sleep, and even snore like a real human being!

The Robot Museum gives the opportunity to children and adults to learn more about the fascinating world of robotics and invites them to embrace a new lifestyle, where robots are part of every family. Furthermore, the Robot Museum will be the incubator for the coming Robot Age and will play an important role in the promotion of the “Made in China 2025” initiation.
